In Pakistan, religious minorities face hatred, discrimination, false accusations, mob violence, and persecution. False accusations are used in personal disputes and acts of revenge, leaving families facing violence, displacement, and fear. Families trapped in bonded labour spend years under debt and exploitation, while their children grow up with little hope of escaping the same cycle.

About Samaritan’s Fellowship

Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation Pakistan has worked with communities in Pakistan since 2013. We work especially with people facing religious persecution, discrimination, bonded labour, exploitation, poverty, and other circumstances that limit their safety, freedom, and opportunities.

We believe helping someone through a crisis is important—but what happens afterward matters too. A family escaping exploitation still needs a way to earn. A person facing persecution may need legal help and continued support. People who do not know their rights may not know where to turn when those rights are violated.

That is why our work continues beyond immediate assistance.

• Help bonded-labour families seek freedom from exploitation through lawful processes and referrals.

We stay with families beyond the immediate crisis

Our goal is not simply to provide temporary relief and walk away.

Where possible, we continue working with families as they move from immediate hardship toward greater safety and independence. Depending on the circumstances, this may include referrals, rights awareness, skills development, livelihood support, small-enterprise opportunities, educational support, or connections to other services.

Different families need different forms of help. We try to respond to the circumstances of the people we serve rather than treating every situation the same way.

Our work in numbers

Through our work, 345 families have been helped out of bonded-labour debt, 574 victims of persecution have received support, 886 women have been empowered, and 627 children have been supported in their education and toward a better future.
