Observatorio de Riesgos Catastróficos Globales (ORCG) is a science diplomacy organization working to improve global risk management in Spanish-speaking countries. To achieve our mission, we connect decision makers with experts and produce evidence-based publications.Our team works together with experts and public officials to co-create policies that identify, prevent and mitigate the effects of global risk.

Our current focus areas include 1) Artificial Intelligence regulation, 2) food security during abrupt sunlight reduction scenarios, 3) monitoring and responding to disease outbreaks in Latin America, and 4) improving global catastrophic risk management (e.g. all-hazards policy).
