The Decade Project

What if American business ownership looked like America? Right now, it doesn’t, but it could. The Decade Project (TDP) has the audacious goal of having American business ownership (firms with one or more employees) reflect the race/ethnicity and gender of America by 2035. By intentionally investing in role models, financial capital accessibility, entrepreneurial upskilling, mentorship and networking, and catalyzing all of our nation’s talent, the U.S. could have over 2 million more sustainable employer firms, 20 million more jobs, 4 times the amount of innovation and a $4 trillion increase in annual GDP.
