Roots & Wings Academy is an experiential school dedicated to merging individual experiences with the curriculum, learning environment, and tailored educational options. Our innovative approach uses design thinking, teaching students through projects based on life experiences and observations. From visiting places and growing their own food to becoming problem-solvers for society, our students learn through hands-on, real-world activities.
To expand our impact and provide trendsetting facilities to society, we are seeking funds to construct a state-of-the-art infrastructure. This new campus will feature advanced labs, robotics and 3D printing facilities, a hostel, and workshops, all designed to support our activities and facilitate experiential learning.
We also run a hostel which accommodates 24 girls from backward tribes each year, equipping them with job skills necessary to become the breadwinners for their families.
Additionally, our Readymade Garments project empowers women below the poverty line in rural areas. Over 500 women at a time gain tailoring employment, helping them support their households and achieve financial independence.

School Construction for Experiential Learning

This is the vision of Roots & Wings Academy, which began in 2018 with 91 students, has grown to 455 in just six years and aspire to be a family of 1000 students by 2026. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique stories and aspirations. They are curious, eager to learn, and full of potential. However, our current facilities are not enough to support the growing needs of our innovative programs. We have personally committed to this project by selling our house and securing donations from friends and family. Construction work on our new campus has already begun on a 1-acre plot with a construction carpet area of 45,000 sq ft, to be completed in 18 months starting June 2024.
