The mission of the Real Organic Project is to unite and build the organic movement. As economic and political forces erode the meaning of the term “certified organic”, we bring together a community of farmers and eaters who care about real organic farming. To achieve this we grow people’s understanding of foundational organic values and practices. We also are implementing an “add-on” certification program to differentiate organic products that are grown in healthy soil and raised on well-managed pasture.
Our vision is to inspire farmers and eaters to reclaim the true meaning of organic. It is critical that “Organic” returns to its roots as a movement, and that this movement remains farmer-led.
