To support this vision, we’ve created Give901, a way for Memphians to invest in local nonprofits that are doing life-changing, city-building work through education. We’ve assembled a portfolio featuring some of the city’s most effective educational nonprofits, and you can invest in their work. Each Give901 partner has a track record of producing measurable outcomes for the teachers and children they serve.

INNOVATIVE SCHOOLS
Memphis has come a long way toward providing educational options to all students.
Each Give901 school is located in an underserved community and primarily serves
minority students. Give901 schools are changing the Memphis educational
landscape and producing students who are ready for life-long success.

EXCELLENT TEACHERS
Give901 teacher training programs produce outstanding teachers with some of the
best retention rates in the city. Teachers impact over 3,000 students during an
average career. We’re investing in that impact.

AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS + MENTORING
Give901 after-school programs enrich, educate, and provide formative mentoring
relationships, positively impacting grades and graduation rates. Students who meet
regularly with mentors are 55% more likely to enroll in college. Give901 is confident in the
difference these programs can make in the lives of the kids of Memphis.
