E4Impact is a social change organization that supports the start-up and growth of new businesses in Africa through MBAs, Entrepreneurship programs, business accelerators and economic development projects. It was launched in 2010 as an initiative of ALTIS – Graduate School of Business and Society of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy). In 2015, E4Impact became Foundation on the initiative of a group of leading Italian companies.
E4Impact currently works in 20 African Countries and has established 9 country offices in: Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Senegal, Tunisia, Uganda, Zimbabwe.
The work of the Foundation contributes to the attainment of the UN 2030 Sustainable Goals: 1 No Poverty; 4 Quality Education; 8 Decent Work; 9 Industry Innovation; 12 Responsible Consumption and Production.
E4Impact Mission is:
- To train and develop high-impact African entrepreneurs who can create jobs and provide solutions to their country's challenges.
- To promote an Alliance of African Universities to offer action-oriented entrepreneurial programs.
- To generate partnerships and commercial relationships between African and international companies.
Since its establishment, the Foundation:
• trained more than 11.600 entrepreneurs through MBAs, Accelerators and projects;
• impacted on over 19,800 other perople through its value chain projects;
• involved 33% female entrepreneurs;
• involved 24 African universities in its University Alliance.
