The journey that impacted over 1 million lives started in 1996 when Dr. K. Anji Reddy, a renowned scientist, entrepreneur and philanthropist, encouraged by the possibility of helping others to share and reap the benefits of India’s economic growth, started Dr. Reddy’s Foundation. The foundation was established with a mission of assisting disadvantaged people to have access to quality education and develop skills to keep pace with modern-day challenges. After 25 years, the mission has only grown to encompass some of the most complex social problems of the day but with the same enthusiasm to change lives.
To solve the most complex social problems, creating sustainable social impact at scale, the Foundation is working in 20 states in India, with diverse partners to collectively impact low-income households in the areas of rural livelihoods, education, healthcare, skill development, climate action and inclusion. Our interventions are in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and stand as an affirmation of our commitment to sustainably empower socially and economically disadvantaged communities.
We have directly impacted over 13,00,000 people and with your donations, we can together reach more individuals and families in need, empowering them to lead dignified lives and contribute to the development of resilient communities.

Fund Disability Entrepreneurs Today!
The vast majority of individuals with disabilities encounter significant hurdles in securing traditional employment opportunities, often stemming from obstacles in accessing mainstream education, skill development programs, and geographical limitations. Our initiative is dedicated to addressing this disparity by fostering financial independence through the establishment of entrepreneurial ventures. Beyond merely providing financial assistance, our comprehensive approach involves equipping beneficiaries with essential entrepreneurial skills and offering personalized support for a duration of six months. This assistance encompasses various facets of business operations, ranging from procurement strategies to effective marketing and sales techniques. To date, we have successfully empowered 280 individuals with disabilities, enabling them to thrive as proud entrepreneurs across diverse sectors such as groceries, dairy products, tailoring, and automobile repair services. Our aspiration for the current Financial Year (April '24 - March '25) is to extend this impact to 1,000 additional disability entrepreneurs. Each beneficiary receives a substantial seed grant of INR 30,000, facilitating the launch of their entrepreneurial endeavors. Your generous contribution will directly contribute to the provision of these crucial seed grants, thereby catalyzing the entrepreneurial journey of persons with disabilities.
