UHS is a 501(c)(3) organization that helps animals in the most dangerous areas of Ukraine through a local network of volunteers.

We love animals deeply, and with your support, we are able to send food, water, and medicine to the most dangerous front-line areas in Ukraine through a dedicated network of local volunteers. In addition, we run sterilization programs and organize evacuations to safer locations, providing much-needed relief for animals in crisis.

A mid-sized shelter for cats and dogs in Kostyantynivka, Ukraine, has come dangerously close to the war front line. Olena, the founder of the shelter, is seeking help to evacuate her animals to a safer place. She doesn’t have much support yet and is counting on us to help rescue these animals from the suffering caused by the daily bombings and shelling. The dogs are howling and rushing around in their pens, and tragically, some have died from heartbreak. The situation is critical, and we are asking for your support in evacuating the shelter's animals.
