Empowering Marginalized Youth for a Brighter Future

Tai Impact is an innovative organization dedicated to leveraging creative and technology-driven approaches to address challenges faced by marginalized groups, including girls and people living with disabilities. We envision a future where every young person has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

To reach young people across Tanzania, Tai Impact produces educational content in diverse formats, animations, comics, and radio stories. Through both traditional media and digital platforms, our content has impacted over 17 million people, addressing critical social issues in a relatable, engaging way. Projects like Pamoja and Darubini use 3D animation and storytelling to inspire youth to confront social taboos, helping create a foundation for inclusivity and positive change.

Our work focuses on four key areas:

1. Health and Well-being: We raise awareness and provide resources to address issues like teenage pregnancy, child marriage, gender-based violence, female genital mutilation, and menstrual health. Our programs equip young people with the knowledge to make healthy, informed choices.
2. Rights of People Living with Disabilities: Tai Impact advocates for the rights of youth with disabilities, such as those with albinism, autism, dyslexia, and vision impairments, creating inclusive spaces where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
3. Digital Skills for All: We provide digital skills training to empower young people, particularly girls, with essential technology tools that enhance their education, health, and career opportunities.
4. Climate Change: Our programs educate youth on environmental issues, helping them take meaningful climate action and promote sustainability in their communities.
