Ride with Elizabeth Falkner: Bike to Care + Regarding Her
We are heading to Champagne this May! Elizabeth Falkner is joining an elite team of chefs, including Mary Sue Milliken, Marc Murphy, and Neal Fraser, to ride in Bike to Care 2026 . This international cycling event brings the industry together to support the people who make our kitchens and dining rooms run. Elizabeth is riding specifically to raise funds for Regarding Her . We founded this nonprofit to make sure women-owned food and beverage businesses have the capital and support systems they need to stay the heartbeat of our neighborhoods. Why Elizabeth is Pedaling for Regarding Her
The statistics in our industry still don’t add up. Women make up 54% of the workforce, but they hold only 29% of leadership positions and receive less than 3% of available capital. Regarding Her is building the safety net that didn’t exist when many of us were starting out. By supporting Elizabeth’s ride, you are directly fueling: Education & Resilience: We have already awarded $450K in scholarships and provided over 320 business growth programs. Crisis Advocacy: We provide boots-on-the-ground support during emergencies, such as our direct advocacy during the 2025 LA Wildfires. Proven Impact: Our community now supports over 1,300 members, 72% of whom are women of color. The Goal: $20,000 for the Future of Food
Elizabeth is aiming to secure $20,000 in tax-deductible donations to fuel these programs. This is a rare chance for chefs to get out of the kitchen and connect while driving economic mobility for the next generation of women chefs. Every dollar raised through this ride goes directly to our programming. Because the event covers logistics and on-the-ground costs in France, your donation has a 1:1 impact on the women entrepreneurs we serve. About Regarding Her
Regarding Her is a national nonprofit dedicated to accelerating the careers of women and non-binary entrepreneurs in the food and beverage industry. We believe that when women lead, communities thrive.

DonateHelp Women-Owned Food & Bev Businesses Recover from LA Fires
OUR HEARTS ARE WITH LOS ANGELES: As fires continue to devastate our city, we stand in solidarity with all Angelenos who have been displaced or affected by this disaster. We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and vigilant during these challenging times. The devastation caused by these fires has been truly overwhelming. For many of our members, this feels like the final straw after an already grueling year of rising costs, vandalism, unjust lawsuits, and more. In just the past 24 hours, many have reached out to share that even staying closed for a few days or operating without customers could force them to close their doors for good. And heartbreakingly, that doesn’t even account for those businesses having been completely destroyed by the fires. HOW YOU CAN HELP: So many of you from outside Los Angeles have reached out asking how you can help, and we’re incredibly touched by your kindness. That’s why we’re coming together to collect donations, which will go directly to these small business owners as they work to rebuild and recover. 100% of proceeds will be transparently distributed, and we’ll share a full report so you can see the impact of your generosity. Thank you for being part of this effort to support these incredible women and their businesses. It means the world. WHO WE ARE: Regarding Her is a nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth and economic mobility for women small business owners in the food and beverage industry. Founded by women, for women, we strive to create an equitable landscape where women in this industry can thrive. Our members include the owners of restaurants, bars, cafes, wineries, bakeries, food trucks, pop-ups, CPG, and more. We provide education, mentorship, networking, and grant opportunities to help them overcome challenges, grow sustainable businesses, and build a more inclusive food ecosystem.
