Rank the Vote (RTV) is a 501(c)3 organization with a vision that the national adoption of ranked choice voting and other structural election reforms will create a political and social culture with elections based on a competition of the best ideas rather than scorched-earth politics, and a government that is truly accountable to “we the people”. Ranked choice voting forces politicians to campaign on the issues, rather than pandering to a voter bloc on soundbites. The mission of Rank the Vote is simple: help everyday people build robust movements to expand democracy with prove and powerful election upgrades in their own states.

The Grassroots Victory Fund
Investing in a real republic Americans expect republican government to function as described by Abraham Lincoln: "of the people, by the people, for the people"* . This has been our country's North Star, what we are always striving towards. But it's clear * we have a very long way to go**. A vehicle to our deeply democratic future The Grassroots Victory Fund is a program of Rank the Vote that grants money to state-based organizations who are building an army for deep democracy from the ground up. They're winning hearts, minds, and enactment campaigns that upgrade elections and government with powerful, structural reforms: ranked choice voting (RCV), proportional representation (PR), fair districts (FD), and open primaries (OP) And they are doing it by working hand-in-hand with people right where they live and the organizations in their communities.
