WHERE DO WE WORK?
We are currently working with people from the Mixteca and Mixe Regions of
State of Oaxaca, some of the municipalities are: Santa María Peñoles, San Miguel Peras, San Pablo Cuatro Venados, Santiago Tlazoyaltepec, Santa María Tlahuitoltepec, Tamazulapan del Espíritu Santo.
HOW DO WE DO IT?
Through 5 programs and 9 projects whose objectives are the following:
- AGRICULTURAL TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE Improve and increase agricultural production through technical advice to generate income and employment in family production units, strengthening the knowledge acquired in field schools.
FIELD SCHOOLS
Increase the knowledge of producers through continuous participatory training modules called Field Schools (ECA).
- EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS Provide economic support scholarships to low-income students to contribute to their academic training, with the purpose of benefiting society.
FINANCIAL EDUCATION
Provide basic knowledge about financial concepts and habits for decision-making of rural inhabitants and encourage the adoption and operation of their own savings and credit mechanisms to strengthen personal finances and productive projects.
- WATER AGRICULTURAL USE Support alternatives for the collection, storage, and distribution of water for agricultural and/or livestock use.
COMMUNITY USE
Promote alternatives for the proper use of water through training processes and investments in infrastructure and equipment.
- ENTREPRENEURS AGRI-FOOD CHAINS Promote family farming and the inclusion of small producers in the local market, favoring a relationship of direct trust between producing families and consuming families.
COMPLEMENTARY SUPPORT
Improve rural agricultural, livestock, services, and transformation productive activities through investment in materials, tools and equipment.
COLLABORATIONS
Establish alliances with other people, entities, and organizations to fulfill the corporate purpose, and carry out programs and projects.
