The St. Francis Xavier Lay Missionary Society is dedicated to the formation, sending, and support of Catholic lay missionaries to share the light and love of Jesus Christ with others in Asia — particularly young adults — through diverse ministries of evangelization, faith formation, and social justice.

We seek to draw all people, especially young adults, into a deeper and more meaningful relationship with God. Drawing off the rich spirituality and missionary tradition of the Church, we devote ourselves to bringing the love of Christ to non-Christians and providing faith formation for those already baptized to form loving faith communities of intentional disciples empowered by the Holy Spirit and dedicated to serving Christ in every aspect of life.

Our mission is called to those regions of greatest need, serving in parts of Asia where the Christian Church is in the extreme minority and still persecuted today.

Founded by Stanford graduate Tricia Bolle with a keen understanding of the needs existing in different societies, our mission also seeks to help those living on the margins of society, helping in areas of mental health, the environment, abuse and healing, special needs populations, and civic awareness to improve society within for the greater good.
