City Relief exists to create connections for the hurting and homeless to resources and hope.

City Relief uses mobile resource centers to assist people dealing with poverty and homelessness. These outreaches happen eight times a week in different areas of New York City and New Jersey. We serve hot meals, provide hygiene kits and socks, help our guests to feel safe and comfortable, invite our guests into community with staff, volunteers and other guests, treat them with dignity and compassion, and provide an opportunity to speak to our trained staff who will connect them to life-changing resources and a community of care.

We exist thanks to private donations and for as little as $1.05, you can provide a meal for someone that would have to choose between eating and another necessity. You’ll also be creating a system of wrap-around, holistic care for people that desperately need someone to catch them once they’ve fallen. Thank you for your donation!

Since 2009, Gator Wilderness Camp School has served over 180 boys and families in Southwest Florida.

Gator Wilderness Camp School is located in Charlotte County in southwest Florida. Located on a 250 acre property, Gator Wilderness Camp is a year around camping program designed specifically to serve adolescent boys from the ages of 11-15 years old. This group of boys is significantly struggling to interpret a myriad of issues in their families, schools, and communities. We are a private, non-profit (501C3) organization dedicated to sharing Christ’s unconditional love with families and their sons. Immanuel is a relatively large, established Lutheran congregation in Valparaiso, Indiana, with a baptized membership of more than 1250.  We are a congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.  Our congregational make-up reflects our community, including a mix of students and young adults, families with children, empty-nesters, and older adults.  We celebrated our 150th anniversary in 2014, and we look forward with hope to the next chapter God has in store for us.  We enjoy being together as brothers and sisters in Christ, and we welcome newcomers as blessings from God.  

Worship is the central activity of our life together.  Our worship style is liturgical, following the church year and using the traditional order, incorporating a wide variety of musical styles to accompany it.  We have a rich tradition of music in worship, which we value highly.  Holy communion is celebrated at all Sunday morning services and most Saturday evening services.  We welcome children in our worship, and we offer childcare for families that need it.

We value learning.  Congregation members participate in Sunday morning education and many small group Bible studies throughout the week. We are deeply committed to our school ministry (preschool and K-8) and its mission to help families form children in Christ who live with God, love to learn, and lead by serving. 

Immanuel serves the larger community in a variety of ways.  Gloria Dei Hispanic Mission provides worshiping, learning, and serving opportunities in Spanish.  A group home for developmentally challenged adults is located on the church property, and we welcome the residents as valued members of the body of Christ.  Immanuel operates a food pantry and a comfort dog ministry, supports ministries for needy men and women in Gary, and (along with other congregations in Valparaiso) provides a men’s homeless shelter.  Teams from Immanuel take short-term mission trips to locations both domestic and abroad.

That's a little bit about us, but we joyfully acknowledge that our story is not first or finally about us.  It's about God with us.  The ongoing story of this church could be told by its name. The word “Immanuel” means “God with us.” We cherish this name because we are a people in need of God’s presence to help us and guide us at all times.  Apart from the presence of God, we would be incapable of living well in the Story of Jesus. On our own, our efforts to follow his command to make disciples of all nations fall short. With Jesus and with his help, however, this work of God endures and grows even among us.

One of the last things Jesus said to his disciples while he was still with them on earth was this: “And behold, I am with you always to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). We find great encouragement in these words of promise, and we have found them to be true over the decades and as we continue to worship, learn, and serve in his name.   The Story of Jesus is playing out today and it includes people like us. It’s a great joy to live in this present age as followers of Jesus. As we follow Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations, we ask him to dwell with us. We pray for his help. We seek his guidance and pursue his will, trusting that he is indeed with us always. He is forever Immanuel. He is forever God. He is forever with us.

The Abbey of Saint Wandrille was founded by Saint Wandrille in the mid-seventh century on the banks of the Seine, in Normandy (France). Today it is an impressive monument, a unique spiritual and cultural inheritance that the monks continue to inhabit.

Two major works are to achieve in order to preserve this architectural patrimony.

- **PROJECT #1: RESTORE THE GOTHIC CLOISTER**
The cloister of Saint-Wandrille, one of the two complete Gothic cloisters in Upper Normandy, suffers the ravages of humidity: soil in peril, stones and gnawed sculptures, development of moss and algae... The restoration has begun in 2018 but it is still in progress.
- **PROJECT #2: REHABILITATE THE "EAST" WING OF THE ABBEY**
Accidentally destroyed in the 19th century, the extremity of this building, of Maurist architecture, must imperatively be consolidated. The choice was made to extend it, which will allow the creation of new essential spaces: a library, to protect unique manuscripts and books of the Abbey, as well as an infirmary to care for the most fragile.

It creates a desired separation between the teaching and the activities of seeking and receiving charitable gifts.

Their children do not want to talk about their impending death, even though it is inevitable. Without hope for how they will get along without their spouse, life partner, or family member they become fearful and choose optimism, a belief that things will turn out for the best. Reality says that it does not happen that way.
End Of Life Ready brings real hope to a person. Our online course offers a solution to being prepared both physically and spiritually. There is no cost for the course, so everyone can be prepared.

We have all had times, when we pulled away from God. It’s in our sinful nature to walk away from God and toward anxiety, addiction, workaholism and pride. Regardless of the struggle, it’s in those dark moments that we need a reminder of who we are and how to get back on track. 

For Angie, she turned to drugs after losing hope for her future. Deep in depression, her pain got so unbearable that she tried to hang herself. But the rope broke. In a moment of desperation and anger, Angie cried out to God. That’s when she heard KAMB Celebration Radio in the background, and realized that God was there for her all along. That encouragement moved her to get help. Today, she and her daughter listen to KAMB every morning and are reminded that God’s love is enduring, and that life can be abundant.

We are a community-based, non-profit organization that serves the homeless and at-risk populations of the Mid-Peninsula. We establish environments and build relationships where community volunteers can provide food and clothing, as well as referrals for shelter, addiction recovery, and other personal support.

Street Life Ministries (or SLM) began in 2001 at the downtown Menlo Park train station. Today, due to the help of many people, it now serves over 35,000 meals a year, five nights a week, in Menlo Park, Palo Alto and Redwood City. For 20 years SLM gatherings have built a reputation as the one consistent place the homeless can count on. Whether it is a holiday, a cloudy or rainy day, SLM never varies from the set schedule, giving the homeless a stable option throughout the year.

SLM is an established 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a board of directors, and is very different from many “feeding ministries.” It serves a unique role in the way it cares for the homeless and the hungry in San Mateo/Santa Clara Counties. Hot, home cooked meals served in outdoor venues are less threatening for our homeless neighbors, fostering a safe environment for relational connections to develop with the SLM leaders and volunteers. These connections build trust for guiding homeless friends toward healthier decisions, medical assistance, detox, rehab, housing, mentorship and counseling. In addition to food and encouragement, SLM provides clothing, toiletry kits, sleeping bags, medical supplies, temporary shelter, recovery services and job assistance to those in need. 

SLM is also unique because it places its staff and its services “in the streets”, and “in the camps”, where the homeless live. It reaches more homeless people directly in those street locations than traditional professional service agencies. Additionally, no other homeless non-profit in the area provides local residents with the large number (over 6000 hours per year, estimated) of volunteer hours of opportunity to meet directly and be served on a face to face basis as we do. Homeless folks need love, care, trustworthy friends, and reliable, regular support to improve and/or recover. SLM is “in the trenches and on the street” every day, helping our homeless neighbors. SLM’s outreach can be accessed at all hours of the day and night.

Studio Zero develops programming and resources on the subjects of meditation, philosophy, theology and the contemplative life.

In the past ten years we have helped hundreds of people to find greater serenity in their lives through meditation practice.

We have sponsored over 100 days of residential retreat practice.

A surprisingly large part of our impact has been among seniors, who have benefited from our gentle techniques.

Many have found our services to be supportive of longterm recovery from addiction.

Our non-sectarian approach to spiritual development has been beneficial to people both inside and outside of traditional religious communities.

Bountiful Children is serving malnourished children in 17 countries.  100% of your donation goes to help children in need.

Bountiful Children is helping malnourished children who aren't receiving proper nutrients.  Screenings are done every 6 months.  Children that have moderate or acute malnutrition begin receiving support from Bountiful.  They are given nutritional supplements and their families are given health lessons to help in their efforts to keep their children healthy.  

The first 1000 days are so vital to a child's physical and mental health.  A child who receives proper nutrition can go on to reach their full potential and lead productive lives.  For as little as $8/month, a child can receive proper nutrition.   100% of every dollar is used to help children in need without regard to race, religion, or ethnic origin.
