In 2014, Laboratoria was founded with the mission of bridging female talent in Latin America with a growing tech sector.
Our founders set out to identify the untapped potential of talented women in Latin America, and address the barriers that women face when seeking to enter the ever-growing tech industry. Starting in Peru, we’ve since expanded to 11 countries, broadening our program offerings along the way.
Laboratoria’s transformative programs
- Código M is an initiative designed to inspire and introduce thousands of women taking their first steps in tech to various career paths through monthly in-person and virtual events and workshops.
- Through our intensive tech training program we equip women who have not had access to quality opportunities with the skills necessary to thrive in the digital economy.
- Laboratoria+ is a professional development community supporting women to become transformative leaders in the digital economy. With leadership training and networking opportunities, we are accelerating the career progression of women in the region.
- Beyond providing diverse tech talent, we support companies by helping strengthen their diversity and inclusion initiatives and by leading dialogue with diverse actors across Latin America.
Since 2014, we’ve made incredible progress
We have trained more than 4000 women through our bootcamp with 77% average Job placement rate. With more than 1100 hiring companies who trust our talents.
