In Korea, about four children are diagnosed with cancer every day, and approximately 12,000 children receive treatment for cancer each year. A child’s sudden illness can place a family in financial hardship and lead to various psychological and social challenges, as treatment often requires an extended period. Fortunately, unlike what we see in movies or TV dramas, childhood cancer is no longer an incurable illness. With advancements in medical treatment, 80% of children with cancer are completely cured and can lead healthy lives if they receive proper care.

The Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation is committed to providing social services for children with cancer so that they can receive the medical treatment they need and return to society in good health. To ensure that no child discontinues treatment due to financial difficulties, we provide financial support for treatment costs. Additionally, we offer a range of professional support services beyond psychological therapy to help children and their families return to a healthy life after treatment. We are dedicated to offering various professional support services to help children with cancer and their families find hope and regain their health.
