Health Equity and Empowerment

During the COVID-19 outbreak, minorities were dying disproportionally due to healthcare inequities. Health Equity and Empowerment were created to make a difference during the pandemic, committed to delivering health education to underprivileged areas in the United States and worldwide. Additionally, with roughly 4% of black physicians in the medical field in America, our goal is to improve that ratio to reduce healthcare inequities. We plan to do this through mentorship, conferences, and scholarships to encourage minority children to pursue careers in medicine.
