About the Rodolfo Morales Cultural Foundation

Fundación Cultural Rodolfo Morales, A. C is a non-governmental organization that promotes education and culture in the Ocotlán District of the state of Oaxaca. Through the Foundation, restorations, maintenance and conservation of architectural, sculptural and pictorial monuments are carried out, it also promotes the creation of restoration workshops with young people, in Ocotlán, the Foundation installed an information center equipped with a library and a computer center, carried out the adaptation of an open-air theater and the reforestation and ecological maintenance campaigns. It was created in August 1992, according to the Official Gazette of the Federation, with the following objectives.

• Create a Cultural Center in Ocotlán de Morelos, as well as support artistic manifestations.

• Restoring monuments of artistic and historical interest.

• Install a native species nursery.

• Not pursuing profit

All this under the tutelage of Maestro Rodolfo Morales.
