It's time to break the cycle of violence and social exclusion.

"Flavors with Purpose," an innovative initiative aimed at transforming the lives of vulnerable youth in Ecuador through gastronomy. Security in Ecuador is in a critical state, especially for the young population. Motivated by the belief that we can turn this crisis into an opportunity, a group of dreamers has come together to co-create "Flavors with Purpose," a project that seeks to support vulnerable youth through gastronomy and build a safer and more prosperous Ecuador for all.

Our goal is to help them establish gastronomic ventures with market connections under a comprehensive development model. We strive to provide an alternative to violence, promote social inclusion, and contribute to local economic development. "Flavors with Purpose" is targeted at young people between 18 and 25 years old living in areas of high social and economic vulnerability.

We launch the "Flavors with Purpose" campaign to raise $100,000. Our initial objective is to develop 10 gastronomic ventures that will positively impact 30 vulnerable youth in a pilot program in the city of Quito. With the lessons learned from the pilot, we can subsequently expand to the entire country.

Since 2005, FUDELA has transformed the lives of over 50,000 individuals in Ecuador through various initiatives of inclusive education, social and economic empowerment, human rights protection, and sport for development with a focus on gender equity and sustainability. This has been possible through strategic partnerships and collaborative actions with multiple actors from the public, private, and civil society sectors.

Through different and innovative methodologies, FUDELA has created safe spaces for healthy recreation, integration, and productive use of free time. Simultaneously, it has built local capacities in diverse communities across Ecuador. Likewise, it has successfully combined the promotion of socioemotional abilities with technical training in trades or entrepreneurship and other complementary services, thereby promoting holistic human development.
