Patrons of the World’s Children Hospital is a US-based not-for-profit corporation that coordinates The Pope’s Global Alliance for the Health and Humanitarian Care of Children, by raising awareness and funding. It oversees the Hub and Spoke model, with centers of excellence that provide scientific support to the Spokes, clinics and hospitals around the world where demand for healthcare is unmet.

Inspired by Pope Francis' enduring commitment to children's well-being, a mission the Patrons have long embraced, we look forward with hope. Alongside our new Holy Father, Pope Leone XIV, we are dedicated to continuing this "miracle" of care and compassion for children in need.

In the past six years, the organization registered over 25,000 patients from 27 provinces.  Mersal has been seeking to enable access to its services all over the country. And the dream of helping those who are in need whoever they are and whatever the cost and time is still alive, Mersal has worked over the past six years on getting close to its patients throughout their treatment journey.

Mersal Foundation for Charity and Development 

Caritas Manila is the social service and development ministry of the Archdiocese of Manila.

Caritas Manila is one of the largest church-based nonprofit organizations in the Philippines. It is a Spirit-led community committed to serving the poor—the “least, last, and lost” in society.

Its programs are geared towards total human development, poverty alleviation, and the creation of a Christian community with a strong social conscience.

**Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP)**

Caritas Manila believes that *education* is the *best social equalizer.*

YSLEP is Caritas Manila's flagship program. It forms future leaders from the poor by *providing scholarships and formation sessions* to around 5,000 youths nationwide.

**Caritas Damayan**

Damayan is the umbrella program of Caritas Manila that covers: (1) preventive health, (2) plant-based food security, (3) feeding and nutrition, (4) crisis intervention, and (5) disaster relief and rehabilitation.

Its sub-programs are:

1. **All is Well** - Through the help of its partners in the medical field, Caritas Manila *offers health services in 28 clinics* in Mega Manila.
2. **Gen129** -*\* This program advocates lifestyle change through plant-based living. In this program, we teach the poor \*how to grow their own food* for a more sustainable future.
3. **Munting Pag-asa** -*\* This program aims to \*counter malnutrition* by providing healthy supplemental meals to poor malnourished children for 120 days.
4. **Unang Yakap** -This program provides healthy meals and vitamins to *poor pregnant/lactating mothers* for 120 days to ensure the optimum health of the mother and their child. Beneficiaries also receive seminars on financial literacy to improve their living condition.
5. **Caritas in Action** - In cooperation with Radio Veritas 846, the CIA program provides medical, legal, hospital bill, laboratory, psychosocial, and burial assistance.
6. **Cadamay** - It *provides emergency relief response* within 24 to 72 hours by distributing food packs, hygiene kits, bedding materials, and shelter repair kits. It also provides livelihood assistance to victims of calamities and church reconstruction assistance to affected parishes.

**Restorative Justice**

It is a program designed to *help Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs)* heal their relationships with their families and the community. It also aims to help them be reintegrated into society as self-sufficient individuals.

**Sanlakbay**

Sanlakbay para sa Pagbabago ng Buhay is a parish/community-based rehabilitation program that aims to transform lives, restore human dignity, and *reintegrate* d*rug dependents* into their communities.

**Segunda Mana**

It is the donated goods program of Caritas Manila that *converts in-kind donations into cash* in our 47 charity outlets in Mega Manila to:

- Fund over 5000 tech-voc and college YSLEP scholars
- Support the livelihood of over 300 micro-entrepreneurs and their families from informal sectors like BASECO and Payatas
- Strongly promote the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle)

**Institute for Servant Leadership and Stewardship (ISLaS)**

ISLaS is the *volunteer arm of Caritas Manila* which mobilizes around 5,000 volunteers within the Archdiocese of Manila.

Parish-based leaders and volunteers undergo continuous training and values formation that mold them to become committed servant leaders. These volunteers enable us to efficiently and effectively implement various social services and development programs for poor families in their communities.

Prevention, control and treatment of malaria and other communicable diseases among vulnerable populations.

Malaria Consortium US, Inc. (MC-US) is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity and shares the mission of Malaria Consortium, a globally recognized organization committed to reducing deaths and illnesses caused by malaria and other preventable and treatable diseases across Africa and Asia.

Our mission is to save lives and improve health in Africa and Asia through evidence-based programs that tackle malaria and other priority diseases while advancing universal health coverage (UHC). In the US, we build partnerships with foundations, donors, and philanthropic organizations to ensure that every contribution makes a lasting impact for those most in need.

As a leader in malaria control and elimination, our work focuses on interventions such as seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC), malaria vaccines, disease surveillance, and integrated child health services. We work in collaboration with governments, communities, and health systems to improve access to essential healthcare and strengthen delivery of services in underserved and hard-to-reach areas.

As a leader in interventions such as chemoprevention and vector control, we rely on evidence and our expertise to deliver established interventions, influence other effective interventions and guide new strategies to reduce the burden of malaria, pneumonia, dengue, malnutrition and diarrhea. We work with communities and all levels of the health system to improve access to and demand for primary healthcare services and overall quality of care.

Our tailored interventions seek to improve equity by providing quality, affordable health services to marginalized populations (particularly women and girls and those living in hard-to-reach areas). To ensure barriers to achieving UHC are addressed and to encourage sustainability, we work closely with governments to integrate our programs within existing health systems and structures in the countries in which we work.

We promote disease surveillance as a core intervention to engage communities to improve the quality and accessibility of routine health information by using digital tools and approaches that strengthen the linkages between case-level data and national health information systems. We combine capacity development at community level with the use of innovative tools and platforms to enhance local capabilities to interpret and use these data most effectively.

We provide cash incentives for childhood vaccinations. It’s one of the most cost-effective ways known to save lives.

GirlTREK began with a simple but life-saving promise between two friends: to walk their way to better health and inspire others to do the same; and it is now a grassroots movement powered by everyday women. We are the women we serve. Now, GirlTrek is mobilizing this constituency for its boldest mission yet: a Care Crusade to extend Black women’s life expectancy by 10 years in a decade. These bold campaigns—scaling to 5 million members, establishing community wellness hubs “Care Villages”, training a Blue Brigade of health responders, and advancing policies to dismantle systemic barriers—will build lasting systems of care and inspire future generations.

GirlTrek

We provide comprehensive oral health care for people in need of all ages. Serving 50,000 patients annually at 5 clinics in MN. 

Our mission is to provide culturally sensitive community oral health care, preventive education, professional training, and to advocate for access for all. 

Our vision is that all people will have access to high quality, affordable dental care to improve their overall health in a convenient, caring, and respectful environment.

We are a nonprofit organization, and we serve patients from all walks of life and economic circumstances. We want to make high-quality dentistry available to anyone who needs care. We have over 200 dedicated employees, including dentists, hygienists, assistants, and an administrative team who are continually improving care and delivering the best possible dentistry.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organization created by doctors and journalists in France in 1971.

In over 70 countries around the world, MSF saves lives by providing medical aid where it is needed most—in armed conflicts, epidemics, natural disasters, and other crises.  The people who work for MSF are doctors, nurses, midwives, epidemiologists, water-and-sanitation experts and many others who combine their professional expertise with a commitment to the world’s most vulnerable people.  Each year, these medical teams run close to 470 projects where they care for millions of people.  

As an organization, MSF is neutral and operates independently of any political, military, or religious agendas. It does not take sides in armed conflicts, provides care based on needs alone, and advocates for increased independent access to victims of conflict and disaster as required under international humanitarian law. Medical teams conduct evaluations on the ground to determine a population's medical needs before opening programs, aiming to fill gaps that exist (rather than replicating services that are already offered) or reach communities that are not being assisted.  Over the years, the organization has been the recipient of several awards that recognize its work, including the 1998 Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize, the 1999 Nobel Peace Prize, the 2012 J. William Fulbright Prize for International Understanding, the 2015 Lasker-Bloomberg Public Service Award, and the 2017 Pardes Humanitarian Prize for Mental Health.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) 

Our mission is dedicated to delivering life-saving medical care to vulnerable populations in Syria and beyond. 

The Syrian American Medical Society Foundation (SAMS) is a non-political, non-religious global medical relief organization. SAMS is one of the most active and trusted international NGOs on the ground in Syria. 

Since 2011, SAMS has supported the healthcare needs of conflict-affected populations, delivering more than 33 million medical services free of charge to people in Syria and beyond.  

Inside Syria, SAMS provides a full range of healthcare services, including emergency and trauma care, ICU services, reproductive healthcare, cancer treatment, mental health services, dialysis, physical rehabilitation, and much more.
