BCP is a group of exceptional musicians! They are truly world-class professionals. At every concert, I am blown away anew by their musicality, the subtle communication between players as they perform, and the inspiration I get as an amateur musician myself. I really appreciate being able to attend their concerts closer to home rather than having to trek to a bigger city. This group is an East Bay treasure!

Relationally driven events for the mechanical keyboard community.

Keycon is the national USA meetup which aims to provide a space for new and experienced mechanical keyboard enthusiasts to meet with other community members. At Keycon meetups, enthusiasts can expect to attend panels, enjoy shopping at vendors, display their collection, and try out keyboards! The goal is to provide a space for an often online community to come together and meet new and old friends.

**Taawon (Welfare Association)** is a **non-profit**, **civic organization** launched in **Geneva** in the year **1983**, upon the initiative of a group of **Palestinian and Arab economists** and intellectuals.
**Taawon has become one of the largest organizations operating in Palestine and the diaspora camps in Lebanon**, whereby it touches the lives of **more than one million Palestinians** on an annual basis, with half of these beneficiaries being **women**.
**Since its establishment, Taawon has invested funds reaching nearly US $900 million, dedicated to development and relief programs.**

**Taawon’s record** over the past 40 years reflects a journey full of achievements reinforced by **strong partnerships**.
Taawon’s long and rich experience has enabled it to:

- Overcome **obstacles** and **difficult conditions** due to the **Israeli occupation**
- Find **innovative and creative solutions** to crises
- Remain responsive to needs despite **social and economic instability**

Taawon maintains a presence in:

- **Palestine**
- **Jordan**
- **Lebanon**
- **Switzerland**
- **Great Britain** (via its sister organization)

Its **interventions reinforce the steadfastness** of **Palestinian citizens** in **Palestine** and the **refugee camps in Lebanon**.

Founded in 2006, the Benicia Chamber Players’ mission is to provide a classical chamber music concert series to underserved East Bay areas including Benicia, Lafayette, Piedmont and Vallejo. Our aim is to cultivate a community of local and other world-class professional musicians with a love of playing chamber music who are dedicated to sharing that love with audiences.

The Diaspora Salon is an initiative of Association Collectif Eclats de Lune which organizes cross-cultural events . This specific program is an annual convening of scholars, artists, cultural practitioners, financiers, technologists, and community builders from across Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, and the Americas. It is designed as an intentional intervention: a space where students and entrepreneurs experience, often for the first time, what it means to belong to excellence—and to be seen, valued, and welcomed into it. 

Beyond inspiration the participants gain durable access to a global network that invests in their potential, mentors their ambitions, and walks alongside them over time. This is social capital made visible, transferable, and enduring. Most Black students and entrepreneurs remain structurally excluded from these global networks. Few have the opportunity to travel. Fewer still have direct relationships with Black leaders operating at the highest levels across sectors and geographies.

Philanthropic support for the Diaspora Salon directly addresses this gap. It ensures that proximity to excellence is not an accident of privilege, but a deliberate act of investment—one that creates lifelong networks, expands global possibility, and helps a new generation imagine, and access, futures previously out of reach.

Our past initiatives have shown that access to global networks and excellence creates permanent, life-changing impact.    

Our annual gathering unfolds in Marrakech, beginning on the final day of the Contemporary African Art Fair 1:54 — a moment when the city hums with creativity and the spirit of Black cultural imagination. The sponsored participants for most have never travelled. They are then immersed in a world where brilliance travels freely across continents, and art collectors from around the globe arrive to celebrate Black excellence in contemporary art.

For many who may not often step inside museums, it becomes a revelation — a doorway into the vast and powerful presence of Black artists shaping the global stage. Creativity is not simply seen. It is felt, shared, and honored as part of a living, breathing heritage. 

After discovering the international power of Black visual artists, participants are then immersed in four days of luminous conversations with leaders who look like them — voices of brilliance, achievement, and imagination. In their presence, possibility widens. Dreams feel nearer. And students begin to see that they, too, can aspire — and belong — at the very center of excellence.

The Mallory Gaston Foundation is dedicated to empowering at-risk youth from Marin, San Francisco, and Alameda Counties through career exploration and internships in the health and fitness sector. Our mission is to create viable work opportunities and foster the development of responsible and engaged citizens through this transformative program. By providing education and purpose, we aim to bridge the gap between marginalized communities and the broader masses, instilling understanding, empathy, and empowerment.

Our civilization is in crisis, characterized by environmental degradation, social fragmentation, political corruption, and economic inequality. Many are realizing that these crises are deeply interconnected and systemic. If we accept that our current crises are the result of the systems we rely on, it becomes our **civic responsibility** to imagine and design better ones.

The word **civics** originates from acts of care and solidarity, reflecting a sense of mutuality and shared belonging. We aim to foster a civic renaissance — a culture of **open civics** — that revives these civic virtues through **open civic innovation**, empowering communities to participate in the collective practice of building better systems.

As civic innovators, we explore ways to improve the foundational systems that serve the well-being of our communities. We design and experiment with new civilizational systems that foster mutual care, responsibility, and collective well-being.

We believe a renewal of civic culture will lead to the creation of **open civic systems** rooted in consent, cooperation, and collective action. Collectively designing a modular, interoperable, composable, and inclusive protocol-based open innovation approach will enable communities to respond more effectively in times of crisis, share knowledge, and rebuild civilization from the ground up.

A pluralistic and polycentric methodology rooted in participatory design and engagement that empowers civic innovators to coordinate collective action towards meeting global and localized needs.

OpenCivics Network

The largest cultural institution in Switzerland, enjoying a high reputation far beyond the country’s borders. 

With over 300 events annually – opera, ballet, classical concerts, recitals – the Zurich Opera House is one of the most productive and renowned cultural venues in Europe. Each season the Zurich Opera House features numerous opera and ballet (world) premieres such as classical concerts and attractive revivals presenting casts with the best singers from all over the world.

The Zurich Opera House is home of the Ballet Zurich and the Orchestra of the Zurich Opera.

Donations are critical to the AFZOH’s success in achieving its ambitious goals on behalf of the Zurich Opera House. This includes among others tours and guest performances in the US, young artist exchanges between Switzerland and the US and the support of young American artists in Switzerland (education program).

We fight to transform the housing system into one in which landlords and the real estate industry do not profit off historically marginalized communities, where tenants have power and decision making over their housing, and where young people have an influential voice in shaping the housing system. Through a deep commitment to transforming culture, community building, and leadership development, we build power that aims to provide young people with autonomy and control over our lives.
