Trinitas Communities on Mission

Forming Followers of Jesus, Multiplying Communities of Belonging, Bringing Heaven on Earth

Eight years ago, Trinitas Church in Phoenix faced the same challenges many churches in the U.S. encounter: a culture shifting away from traditional church engagement and a deep hunger for authentic community. Rather than retreat, we leaned in with prayer and discernment, asking God to show us the most faithful way forward. The answer came in the form of communities on mission—small, decentralized, relational gatherings that live out the gospel in everyday life.

From that first step, a movement was born. Today, Trinitas Communities on Mission exists as a growing network of 19 churches—plants, relaunches, and remissioned communities—rooted in neighborhoods, refugee communities, transitional housing, prisons, families of the incarcerated, and beyond.

Each community is united by a shared culture of:

  • Prayerful Spirit-Dependency – depending on God for direction, power, and fruit.
  • Beloved Community – living as a reconciled, multiethnic family of God.
  • Incarnational Presence – showing up faithfully in neighborhoods and contexts of need.
  • Missional Empowerment – equipping ordinary people to live as everyday missionaries.

Our Mission in Action

  • In Phoenix, more than 140 people made decisions for Christ and 74 were baptized this past year.
  • In just two years since planting its first church, the Trinitas Communities Network now consists of 19 church plants, relaunches, or remissioned churches—with more on the way.
  • In Uganda, over 250 young leaders are being trained and commissioned by South Sudanese pastors to plant 50 churches in the next year.
  • Across our network, families in crisis, veterans, refugees, women, and youth are encountering Jesus not in church buildings, but around tables, in living rooms, prison cells, community centers, and on neighborhood streets.

Why This Matters

The average U.S. church is declining, closing, or struggling to connect with new generations. But Trinitas offers a hopeful alternative: multiplying communities that don’t rely on expensive buildings or large staffs, but instead mobilize ordinary believers for extraordinary mission.

This model is both sustainable and scalable—lean on resources, yet rich in fruit. It empowers people right where they live, ensuring the gospel is not just heard, but experienced.

The Impact of Your Support

Your generosity fuels this mission. Every gift helps us:

  • Plant & Relaunch Churches – We have already walked with 17 churches in transition, and dozens more are seeking our help.
  • Train Pastors & Leaders – Through our online toolkit, residencies, and cohorts, leaders are being formed to serve in diverse and difficult contexts.
  • Care for Leaders & Families – We provide accompaniment, coaching, and care to prevent burnout and cultivate long-term health.
  • Expand Globally – With more than 500 new churches envisioned across East Africa in the next five years, your support helps make multiplication possible.

When you give, you are not just supporting an organization—you are investing in a Spirit-led movement of communities on mission, where lives are being transformed, leaders are being equipped, and the gospel is taking root in places traditional churches often cannot reach.

A Movement of Multiplication

We believe God is writing a bigger story through Trinitas Communities on Mission—one where churches are not merely built, but multiplied; where the Kingdom comes not just on Sundays, but in everyday life; where every person can find belonging, encounter Christ, and be sent on mission.

Your partnership makes this possible. Together, we can see communities of Jesus-followers raised up in neighborhoods, refugee camps, prisons, and cities—bringing Heaven on Earth through communities on mission.
