Affordable water is a human right. Through The Human Utility, we can help pay water bills for families without the privilege of turning a faucet on.

Bread for the City is one of the places in DC that help support individuals who come through an organization I volunteer with helping people obtain their essential life documents so they can find employment and housing. I'm so happy to continue helping support nonprofits like this one.

Indigenous peoples deserve so much better than what we have done to them and what we have taken away from them. This is their land.

I'm so thankful to have my health and the privilege to give to others who deserve theirs too through Watsi.

St. Jude's is such a special organization doing the work of the Divine, taking care of children without causing families to worry about cost. Let's help enable them to do that.

Teachers and students deserve the best opportunities. Education is close to my heart since my sister is a teacher. Khan Academy is doing such great work making learning more accessible for so many people.

NDN Collective is an Indigenous-led organization dedicated to building Indigenous power.

DEFEND
We must continue to defend our people, communities, and nations against negative resource extraction that poisons our people, pollutes our water, destroys our land, contributes to climate change and violates our human rights. Doing this through organizing our communities, making our voice heard, and utilizing a wide variety of tactics is imperative in shifting the political and financial systems that are impacting our communities.

DEVELOP
We must continue to develop Indigenous communities in a regenerative and sustainable manner based on our values and connection to land, culture and identity. We need to meet the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. We are doing this through regenerative community development, renewable energy investments and social enterprise development.

DECOLONIZE
We must continue to decolonize our minds, communities, and sovereign nations. The decolonization of our communities and people is directly related to our ability to prosper. Through the revitalization of our Indigenous ceremonies, culture, languages and life ways we will continue to strengthen our identity, and break free from the oppressive systems that disconnect us from achieving the healing growth and connection to spirit that is integral for us as Indigenous people.

We are 100% committed to being radically transparent, impact-focused, and patient-centered. 

Five billion people lack access to safe, basic, and affordable surgical care, yet this is an area that remains vastly underfunded. We are bringing people together around the world to change this and reach patients who are most likely to be left without access to safe surgery. 

The New York Times wrote that "Watsi represents the next generation of charities,” a generation that leverages technology to enable anyone everywhere to create meaningful, lasting impact for those most in need,  embraces 100% transparency, and focuses on our shared humanity by helping supporters create a direct connection with the patients they are helping.

There are 6,904 men, women, and children experiencing homelessness in our nation’s capital. Nearly one in five DC residents lives at or below the poverty line, struggling to meet even their basic needs.

SOME (So Others Might Eat) is an interfaith, community-based organization that exists to help the poor and homeless of our nation's capital. We meet the immediate daily needs of the people we serve with food, clothing, and healthcare. We help break the cycle of homelessness by offering services, such as affordable housing, job training, addiction treatment, and counseling, to the poor, the elderly, and individuals with mental illness. Each day, SOME is restoring hope and dignity one person at a time. We invite you to join us.

The mission of the Wikimedia Foundation is to empower and engage people around the world to collect and develop educational content under a free license or in the public domain, and to disseminate it effectively and globally.  In collaboration with a network of chapters, the Foundation provides the essential infrastructure and an organizational framework for the support and development of multilingual wiki projects and other endeavors which serve this mission. The Foundation will make and keep useful information from its projects available on the Internet free of charge, in perpetuity.

Safe In Austin Rescue Ranch is a sanctuary that rescues animals from severe abuse or neglect.

Our animals provide healing and hope to trauma, at-risk, and/or special needs people, these are the animals who triumph and inspire world-wide.

Safe in Austin's story began with a Great Pyrenees appropriately named, "Angel". 

Our family had always loved animals, but it wasn't until a discounted service dog Angel joined our family, that we would see just how magically an animal could transform lives.

Safe in Austin provides a loving home to animals who suffer from abuse or neglect because animals deserve to experience unconditional love.
