**Global Mentorship Programme**

This flagship program has supported over 1,500 women leaders (Rising Stars) with guidance from more than 1,700 mentors across the world. These mentorships focus on self-awareness, goal setting, network expansion, and resilience. Since inception, Wedu has facilitated over 90,000 hours of mentorship and more than 2,400 mentorship matches. As of 2024, 76% of participants say they attribute the successes on their leadership journey to the support they received from Wedu​.

**Introduction to Leadership (ITL) Course**

Wedu’s self-paced ITL course strengthens self-awareness, goal clarity, and agency—particularly among women who face structural and cultural barriers to leadership. Informed by over a decade of programming and global research, the course is contextualized for Asian women and integrates self-reflection, identity formation, and leadership development. By 2025, Wedu aims to reach 25,000 women with multilingual and multimodal versions of this course, scaling up to one million women by 2030 in partnership with The Agency Fund​.

**Income Sharing Agreement (ISA) Programme**

Through its innovative Income Sharing Agreement (ISA) model, Wedu enables women to finance their university education and leadership development without upfront costs. This model aligns repayment with income, ensuring financial flexibility and minimizing risk for the individual. As of 2024, Wedu brought this ISA program fully in-house, increasing operational efficiency and sustainability​

**Women’s Leadership Academy (WLA)**

Wedu has been a key partner in regional programs like the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Women’s Leadership Academy. Through mentorship and community-building, this initiative fosters strategic leadership among emerging changemakers across ASEAN.

**ORGANIZATIONAL GROWTH AND FUTURE PLANS**

In 2022, Wedu commissioned Bain & Company to conduct a Geographic Expansion Study, assessing market attractiveness and Wedu’s ability to succeed across prospective countries. Based on this analysis, priority countries for expansion—where both factors ranked high—include India, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand. Cambodia, Myanmar, and Nepal were identified for selective expansion. Wedu is now acting on these recommendations by doubling down on our focus in South and Southeast Asia.

In response to major social, political, and economic shifts across South and Southeast Asia, Wedu has identified three concurrent crises affecting women leaders in the region: the Climate Crisis, the Care Economy, and persistent barriers to Economic Empowerment. To ensure our programmes remain relevant and responsive, our External Strategic Priorities for 2025–2027 are focused on directly addressing these challenges. By 2027, we aim to enable 1,000 women leaders to drive climate-resilient solutions; shift how society and women leaders view unpaid care work, recognizing it as a critical factor in advancing women’s leadership; and enhance the economic empowerment of 1,000 women leaders, particularly those leading Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), through capacity-building, education financing, strategic partnerships, and community support.

Wedu will continue to challenge both structural exclusions and internalized limitations faced by women. By integrating self-reflective leadership learning with long-term community and capital support, Wedu aims not just to close the gender gap—but to redefine leadership itself.

One Girl Can is a registered charitable organization in both Canada and Kenya dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and achieving gender equality through education, mentorship, and training. Founded in 2008 and formally registered as a charity in 2014, One Girl Can has spent over 15 years empowering girls in Kenya to rise above barriers and realize their potential through a holistic model that supports them from high school through university and into meaningful employment.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to equip high-potential, underserved girls with the tools, confidence, and opportunities to achieve financial independence and transform their lives, their families, and their communities. Our vision is for every One Girl Can graduate to earn a meaningful living.

At the heart of our work is our Cycle of Empowerment — a continuum of support that begins when a girl enters secondary school and continues as she becomes an educated, employed, and empowered woman who, in turn, gives back to her community. Through their work, Therese and Danielle discovered a profound synergy. They realized they were not only effective partners but also co-dreamers with a shared passion: empowering young women to overcome the systemic challenges of gender inequality, poverty, and violence.

In 2024, that passion became a reality. Together, they founded **Young Women Emerge**, a grassroots organization shaped by Therese’s lifelong dream and the urgent needs of girls in the DRC. With over **55 years of combined experience** promoting human rights, education, and women’s empowerment, Therese and Danielle bring a legacy of advocacy to YWE. Serving survivors of domestic and sexual violence, substance abuse, bereavement, and other causes of trauma for over 55 years

The mission of FCR is to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all survivors of trauma, including those impacted by domestic and sexual violence, substance abuse, bereavement, and other causes. With the understanding that the aim of equality and justice is ongoing, we are committed to modeling diversity, inclusivity, and equity within our organization to reflect the communities in which we serve.

FCR services are offered consistent with our values of choice, acceptance, hope and dignity with the goal of helping children and adults along their path to safety, health, and well-being. We are committed to advancing policies and practices that promote diversity, inclusion, and retention of staff and services to clients of all racial, ethnic, gender identity, and socio-economic backgrounds and beliefs. Our goal is to ensure that a wide range of perspectives, experiences, skills, innovation, and decision-making abilities have a seat around the table and that all voices are heard. We know that the quest towards equity and social justice is long, and there may be challenges along the way, but we are dedicated to making that journey in the spirit of continuous learning, listening, and improvement.

Our vision is to inspire healthier communities free from family and community violence. Through our work in support of vulnerable populations, one day all children and adults will be able to thrive in a safe, just, and equitable world.

FCR, Inc. offers a wide array of multilingual services for child, adult and families who have experienced violence and trauma, serving over 2300 clients annually.

Open Doors English is an English as a Second Language Program for adults in Ithaca, NY. All students are welcome!

Open Doors English's mission is to “offer English classes so that adults can participate fully in community life, advocate and care for themselves and their families, and pursue their goals.” Our student body is comprised of immigrants, refugees, asylum-seekers, farm workers, and temporary residents. All students are welcome, and ODE has served 200-300 students per year since opening in 2019. 

At Open Doors English, students:
- Develop or improve their ability to speak, read, write, and listen in English
- Build the confidence needed to communicate effectively in everyday life situations.
- Learn communication and language skills to perform in current and future jobs
- Acquire advanced language skills and training to pursue educational opportunities
- Increase their understanding of American culture and society
- Receive assistance and make connections to other community resources and agencies
- Connect with people, organizations, and events in the Ithaca area
- Have fun while learning
- Find belonging in a community of international friends

Zera Bolivia Foundation fosters indigenous-led education, enabling self-empowerment, financial independence, and social mobility.

**Zera Bolivia** is an Aymara-led foundation that hosts classes and events for kids as a response to colonial norms, championing indigenous self-determination—especially for women and girls—through transformative education grounded in emotional intelligence, critical thinking, self-awareness, and practical tools for financial independence.

We began in 2015 with a socio-emotional learning pilot at a women’s prison in La Paz, and have since grown to reach thousands of children, youth, and families across Bolivia’s nine departments. Collaborating with municipal governments, the Ministry of Education, and local communities, we co-create culturally adapted programs that honor each community’s priorities and values. Thanks to our community and donor support, we have provided training, world-class educational materials, and technology infrastructure to prisons, children’s hospitals, rural areas, schools, and grassroots groups—always centering local leadership.

From the “Qantatai” literature podcast to “Bolivian Thinkers for Everyone By Zera,” our initiatives celebrate Bolivia’s intellectual heritage and open new pathways for dialogue and growth. Participants often report stronger emotional well-being, improved academic performance, and greater economic opportunities. As we look to the future, we are developing our first “STEM for Indigenous Young Women” program in El Alto and across 20 rural provinces of La Paz, in partnership with India’s STEMED NETWORK.

Allies Against Slavery builds platforms and partnerships that accelerate data-driven solutions to human trafficking. 

Human trafficking is a hidden problem that thrives in the shadows of society. Myths and misconceptions are pervasive, and data is unreliable. As a result, victims aren’t identified, traffickers aren’t prosecuted, and solutions aren’t data-informed or well-coordinated.

But that is changing. Allies Against Slavery harnesses data to illuminate and eradicate human trafficking. Our tools help allies in the fight to identify victims, coordinate care, and take informed action. 

Our vision is clear: to ensure that every community across the United States has the data it needs to combat and prevent human trafficking. But we cannot achieve this vision alone. We need to leverage innovative, data-driven solutions and forge crucial partnerships to shine a light on trafficking and build a future where freedom and dignity are secured for all. Abortion Freedom Fund is a national fund focusing on funding abortion pills by mail.

Abortion Freedom Fund supports accessible, affordable, evidence-based abortion pills by mail for all. Our mission is to help pregnant people take control of their healthcare and futures by dismantling medicalized control of abortion and encouraging a world where abortion pills are over the counter.

We simplify access to care for patients by funding virtual abortion providers and clinics, individuals accessing telehealth abortions, and reimbursing local funds for telehealth abortion care, allowing them to focus their resources on people seeking procedural abortions in their communities.

In addition to direct funding, we partner with organizations doing research and other activism to increase access to abortions.

Our core aims are:
-Assisting people who are pregnant to take control of their health care and futures
-Dismantling medicalized control of abortion and encouraging a world where abortion pills are over the counter
-Advocating for the full continuum of abortion care from self managed to clinician supported
-Breaking down the stereotype that abortion pills are dangerous
