The purpose of the Catholic University of Córdoba (Jesuit) is the search for truth and the total promotion of man through the humanistic, social, scientific and professional training of students, through teaching and research in their higher forms and the cultivation of the fine arts. In witness of which he will grant academic and/or professional titles and/or diplomas. He will serve the community according to his nature. It is not for profit.
Likewise, this purpose is complemented by the mission and vision that the University has, as mentioned in the Institutional Development Plan (2021), where the first is to train science, conscience, commitment, compassionate and contemplative professionals in action and where the vision is to be among the most outstanding universities in South America for the academic and human training of its graduates, to be publicly recognized as a university of excellence, to be one of the Argentine universities with the best articulation and networking with the educational, of productive and industrial services and a leader in university social responsibility, to be a leading university in good environmental practices and to be a university that prepares for global citizenship and opens doors internationally.
