Founded in 1999, TIER –True Innocents Equine Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that rescues abused, neglected, abandoned, and unwanted horses primarily in Southern California. We work with local Animal Control Agencies and network with other rescue organizations to help as many horses as we can. Once a horse in our care has been rehabilitated (if needed) and is deemed "ready for a new home", we strive to find Safe, Responsible, Loving, Caring homes for them through our adoption program. Some of these wonderful equine friends remain under the care of TIER for the remainder of their time on earth as sanctuary animals. Through our Youth Outreach & Volunteer prgrams, these magnificent horses continue to unconditionally give of themselves as teachers of young and not so young!!
