S.A.F.E., Inc. (Shelter & Assistance In Family Emergencies, Inc.)

S.A.F.E., Inc. (Shelter & Assistance in Family Emergencies) is a nonprofit based in Tupelo, Mississippi serving survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking across Northeast Mississippi. Since 1979, we have provided emergency shelter, a 24-hour crisis hotline, advocacy, counseling, and supportive services for women, men, and their children seeking safety and stability.

S.A.F.E., Inc. serves a nine-county region including Alcorn, Benton, Itawamba, Lee, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo, and Union counties. Through shelter, legal advocacy, counseling, housing support, workforce development and family dynamics programs, and prevention education, we help survivors rebuild their lives and connect them with resources needed for long-term safety and healing.
