Subject Matter connects inspiring storytelling and meaningful change by providing funds and other resources to documentaries that highlight social issues and by awarding corresponding grants to nonprofits tackling the featured topics. LAKOTA NATION VS. UNITED STATES Is receiving a $20,000 grant to support marketing and outreach leading up to their theatrical release in the summer of 2023.
