National human services organization. Our mission is to foster stability and resiliency, and provide a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals over their lifespan.

Founded in 1882, we serve all professionals—and not just actors—in film, theater, television, music, opera, radio and dance through programs that address our community's unique and essential needs.

Employment in any division of the performing arts and entertainment industry is unpredictable. Work is erratic, security is fleeting and health insurance is often just a dream. For all of these reasons and many more, The Actors Fund is an indispensable and deeply significant part of the entire entertainment community.

As a national organization with offices in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, we directly serve thousands of performing arts and entertainment professionals across the country every year, in person and via our online resources. Our programs are wide in scope, responsive in nature and produce significant results.

Open Collective Europe promotes charitable initiatives within the European Union, with a focus on Education, Social Impact and Civic participation, and provides such initiatives with a simple and transparent way to manage their finances. Open Collective Europe's mission is to promote projects in the EU with the following charitable purposes: - increasing access to educational resources and training,  - creating a positive social impact and  - developing tools to improve civic participation within cities or communities. Future perspectives At the beginning of 2022, we shared our desire to grow the Open Collective Europe community. Our goal is to make the community more vibrant, supported and resilient. We set out to build a more comprehensive fiscal hosting service and support system for our collectives.

Today’s world is more interconnected and complex than ever, yet it’s also more divided and polarized. Extremist views, culture wars, political populism and attacks on democracy are growing and ideological divides are making it harder to tackle global challenges like the climate crisis.

When News Decoder began in 2015, our founding belief was that young people could transcend the role of passive information consumers to become powerful knowledge producers and agents of change ready to meet these challenges. 

Over the past decade, we have demonstrated not only that this vision is possible but how it can be achieved. Our combination of journalism skills training and cross-border virtual exchange empowers young people to be informed, engaged citizens capable of reporting on their local communities and sharing their perspectives on a global stage.

News Decoder is a nonprofit registered in France. Our vision is a world where every young person participates in shaping a better tomorrow for themselves, their community and the wider world. Through past and present partnerships with nearly 50 schools in 20 countries on five continents, we teach and model the tools and techniques of journalism that help young people better understand complex international issues, hone their voices and viewpoints and turn their ideas in to meaningful social action.
