PRESENT NOW is a national nonprofit that partners with domestic violence shelters to gift presents to children and young adults.
PRESENTS NOW mission is to provide children living in transitional domestic violence shelters with experiences and gifts that bring them joy, comfort, and relief during a time of crisis.
The Presents Program is the heart of everything PRESENT NOW does. More than just a gift or kind gesture, and beyond its tangible value, our personalized presents create moments of joy and recovery for families who are starting over.
Every quarter, PRESENT NOW volunteers pack presents which we ship nationwide to shelter partners in 13 states. Three distinct focus areas: Presence of Love (Valentine's Day), Presence of Mind (Back-to-School), and Presence of Being (Birthday) are designed to help children who are living in shelters know that they are not forgotten as we celebrate their special moments and new beginnings.
To date, PRESENT NOW has delivered 13,741 presents, impacting 8,027 children and families in 66 shelter locations. Your generous support allows PRESENT NOW to continue its mission of bringing joy, love, and comfort to children in domestic violence shelters.
