Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence

The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence is a statewide nonprofit that recognizes and encourages academic excellence in Oklahoma’s public schools. OFE gives $175,000 in awards annually through its prestigious Academic Awards Program, which honors outstanding public school seniors along with educators at the elementary, secondary and university levels.

The foundation helps strengthen grassroots support for public schools through its Oklahoma School Foundations Network and promotes the growth and development of quality youth mentoring programs through its Boren Mentoring Initiative Grants. OFE also partners with national organizations Fund for Teachers and Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute to provide professional development opportunities to Oklahoma teachers.
