Newport Classical is committed "to celebrating classical music as a living art form through inspiring concerts in intimate and historic locations." As a year-round, inclusive, and welcoming organization, we present the finest classical music in a way that prioritizes diversity of expression within the genre and makes classical music available and accessible to as many members of Newport County as possible. The strategic programmatic expansion initiated in 2021 - encompassing the iconic Music Festival, the year-round Chamber Series, free Community Concerts Series, and Music Education and Engagement Initiative - has secured Newport Classical’s position as the most active music organization on Aquidneck Island, presenting concerts every month of the year, totaling over 40 annually, along with a presence in Newport County schools. Thus, NC proudly engages and enhances the lives of 10,000 residents and visitors. To this end, the continued growth of NC’s full panoply of year-round programming remains our highest priority.
