Medic Corps is a U.S. based non-governmental organization that deploys our cross-trained volunteers to provide humanitarian aid, rescue pilots, and medical assistance to foreign and domestic disasters. Medic Corps was founded in 2013 and their mission is to provide rapid response and critical aid to where it is most needed. Our teams on the ground seek to find the areas that are being neglected to fill in the gaps.

According to the U.N., 1 in 6 villages have not received aid. 73% of the initial support has come from NGO’s like ourselves. Medic Corps has been on the ground since the first week of the earthquake working with the local communities and leaders to address the most critical needs to fill in the gaps. We have created a network to address these needs through local Turkish businesses and in country partners. Through this we  have access to company warehouses, trucks, and employees, who are assisting our assisting us in providing and distributing these supplies. Although we are working with partners in other countries to ship relief items to Türkiye, it is a difficult process that requires time, shipping expense, and many other import complications.

Through your support, our in-country effort has already distributed more than 10,000lbs of critically needed supplies to the most affected areas, including more than 10,000 individually packaged high protein trail mixes, non-refrigerated milk, metric tons of rice, beans, lentils and cooking oil, as well as sleeping bags, crutches, clothing, and hygiene products.
