Meet Chicken: The Brave Little Kitten with a Broken Leg

Today we're helping raise funds for little Chicken and cats just like him, who deserve their best chance at life.

A trusted rescue we work with came upon little Chicken in a trailer park. He didn't have an owner and it was immediately apparent he had a few injuries.

Chicken was quickly taken for veterinary care where the compassionate staff welcomed him, treated his injuries and confirmed that his leg was indeed fractured.

Little Chicken's story is one of many; he is a tiny, resilient kitten who has refused to let a broken leg dampen his spirit.

Every day, Chicken is gaining more confidence, and we know he'll eventually find his stride. Our rescue partner is showering him with love and affection and making sure he receives the care he needs. Equally important, Chicken is learning to trust the humans caring for him.

Thanks to quick intervention, Little Chicken's injuries are healing and soon he'll be able to run, jump, and explore the world.
