Hi everyone, Lady is a sweet dog who needs surgery for a tibial fracture. Her leg has been stabilized with a splint and wrap to keep her comfortable, but a surgeon needs to repair the fracture soon. Mission Animal Hospital shared that delays can make the fracture harder to repair and increase the likelihood that amputation may eventually be necessary. The current estimate for surgery is $4,436 to $4,582. Lady’s family can contribute $1,000 to $1,500 toward her care, and we are hoping to help bridge the remaining cost through our Community Love program. This is the kind of case Community Love exists for. Veterinary care is increasingly out of reach for many families, even when the condition is treatable and the outcome is strong. When pets experience injuries like this, the difference between recovery and long term complications often comes down to timing and access.
