As the Largest No-Kill animal shelter in its area, the Humane Society of Wickenburg rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes animals that have been abandoned, neglected, or abused from as far as 75 miles away. This organization operates an animal shelter, housing up to over 100 dogs and cats at any given time. Foster homes are also utilized to serve additional animals and offer socialization or specialized needs while the animal is being prepared for their forever home. The organization also offers programs and services to the community such as Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinics, AniMeals (home delivered pet meals for homebound pets), a Feral Cat Program, a Pet Food Pantry, and Pet Health Assistance Program (subsidized veterinary medical assistance for pet medical emergencies or routine medical care).
