Based in the Washington, DC area, the Green Family Foundation creates opportunities for children, families, and communities.
The Green Family Foundation, formerly known as the Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation, continues its mission to Nurture the Child, Strengthen the Family, and Rebuild the Community.
For 36 years, Darrell Green, his wife Jewell, and their family have been deeply committed to serving youth and communities. Through our Youth Life Learning Centers in the DMV area and affiliate partnerships nationwide, we have positively impacted thousands of children, their parents, and the communities they call home.
Our name has changed, but our mission remains the same. We are excited to welcome you to the Green Family Foundation, a reflection of our family’s collective commitment to building a legacy of service that transcends generations. Together, we will continue to create windows of opportunity and ensure that children and families are equipped with the tools they need to succeed.
