Our mission at Power of Two is to nurture the inherent potential in every child and family - equipping them with the tools to transform their own lives and strengthen their communities. We were founded in 2015 as a response to the impacts that systemic inequities have on young children in New York City.

Through our evidence-based, in-home parent coaching, we support caregivers of infants and toddlers in New York City’s most vulnerable communities. This free, 10-week program empowers parents to nurture their children’s healthy development during the critical early years of life. Our program reduces toxic stress, strengthens family relationships, decreases parental depression, and promotes long-term success in areas like school readiness and emotional well-being, helping build brighter futures for both families and their communities.

Since 2015, we have partnered with over 6,000 caregivers and 6,500 children in 84 neighborhoods across all five boroughs to support forming strong bonds during an integral time in their lives.
