$20 for every mass shooting at a school thus far this year. Headlines like this shouldn't happen. 

I do not want to be heartbroken and afraid any more. I do not want continue hearing politicians call for prayers and do nothing to stop the senseless murdering of people shopping for groceries or attending elementary school. We need an organized movement to make this happen, and Everytown for Gun Safety is doing it.  

I am sick and tired of hearing about these shootings and nothing changing

Seeing a congresswoman harass a Parkland shooting survivor left me unnerved. I've decided to turn my disbelief into positive action by donating to a nonprofit that advocates for sensible gun laws. Everytown does the vital work, day in and day out, to try to keep our schools safe from gun violence. Marjorie Taylor Greene's actions could have inspired me toward anger. Instead, I'm inspired toward action. I'm choosing action, not hate.

Life has been kind to me and it's my mission to share that kindness with the world. 

Across the U.S. we are seeing a drastic increase in gun violence at events, grocery stores, churches, and even schools. We need to create a safer environment for our communities and our children. This can only be possible through proactive efforts to minimize risk through gun prevention, gun reform, education, and placing pressure on our lawmakers. Everytown is the largest gun violence prevention organization in the U.S and they have already made substantial strides to address these issues.
