Sonja Bertram's Children Foundation

Sonja Bertram’s Children Foundation was founded in 2022 to ensure every child has access to quality education, regardless of their background. In collaboration with Umar Hussaini, a Nigerian educator and philanthropist, we aim to empower children to become self-reliant and responsible citizens.

Registered as a nonprofit by the Nigerian government in 2024, we have already impacted countless lives. We’ve provided textbooks, stationery, and teaching resources to children in communities and IDP camps across Nasarawa State and the FCT. Schools like Angwan Soja Childwoth and Triton Kuchikau Community School have benefited from our support, along with many others.

Our main focus is on vulnerable children: those out of school, orphans, and children displaced by conflict. But the need is great, and we can do more with your help.
