CREO is a program that supports Latinx students in suburban Chicago with mentoring, academic coaching, workshops, advising and empowers the whole family to understand and navigate the transition from high school to college. Our program leverages the experiences of current college students, young professionals, all the way through empty-nesters and retirees to come alongside our students who are have the potential to be the first generation to complete a college degree.
Our program volunteers provide students provide support through weekly coaching sessions that go beyond tutoring and include a focus on mindset, habits, and skills that will make them successful students now -and later in college.
Our program also offers bilingual workshops and communication to empower parents with the tools that they need to walk with their youth and make decisions that are outside of their own experience.
