Breaking the poverty cycle through education
100% of donations are used for education, mentoring and community projects. All overhead costs are covered by a corporate sponsor and we are externally audited pro-bono.
The NGO is managed on the ground in Cambodia by our senior students, who are mentored in managing the organisation and Social Enterprise Projects by a group of Australian business volunteers.
All students contribute back to the community with daily volunteer activities. The entire NGO student family also volunteers once a month on a rural community project.
CRST operates numerous social enterprise projects which help rural communities break their poverty cycle and empower rural students to stay in school. Projects include
- Project B, Bicycles for Education
- Project G, Empowering Girls
- Project L, Light for Education
- Project R, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Plastic Education Program
- Project W, Water for Education
- Project V, The Volunteer Experience
