Beit Juhuro

This page was created in addition to fundraising campaign on Chesed Fund so that we could accept cryptocurrency donations. As you may have heard, the funds are being raised to buy the building at 2320 Avenue U - the current location of Beit Juhuro. The landlord received an offer from an interested buyer but gave Beit Juhuro the right of first refusal. This legal right ensures that we have the opportunity to purchase the property before the owner can sell it to someone else. Founded in 2014, Beit Juhuro Cultural and Educational Center strives to preserve the unique identity and culture of the Gorsky Jews through a wide spectrum of activities as well as partnerships with local and international organizations. Beit Juhuro has rapidly expanded its presence and earned its reputation within the community of New York City as a go to place for social, cultural and religious activities. Beit Juhuro continues its growth locally, and hand in hand makes a worldwide impact through successful joint ventures with local and international organizations. By empowering the next generation of leaders, we are strengthening the cultural identity, advancing the rich heritage of our community, and preparing them for the challenges of the rapidly changing world.
