AmerAsian School in Okinawa (AASO) was founded in 1998 and was structured for students who have two cultures in their lives. Most students have parental connections to Japan and America. AASO strives to give them an environment without any discrimination to be themselves (bi-cultural/bilingual American-Asians). Donations will go towards improving and offering this education, especially to families who cannot afford alternative schools. AASO hopes to continue supporting those families who need a safe place for their children to be themselves.

Melvin Jackson This school does good work. Americans should feel a responsibility for these Left Behind children. And also it helps to maintain contact with the island and people of my wife who passed away some years ago.
