Let's stand with care workers & the NDWA!

Dear Friends, The National Domestic Workers Alliance has inspired me for many years and I hope you will take a moment to learn more about the NDWA, the state of care infrastructure in the United States, and the need for greater respect, recognition, and rights for care workers. Many of us have seen, up close, the skill and heart that care workers bring to their essential work - helping people live with decency and dignity at the dawn and twilight of their lives, and in countless circumstances in between. Even while care workers matter so much to our society and our families, too many live and work on the margins of our economy. There are great resources, reports, and interviews available online. I am not able to put links on this page but you can search the following: Interview between Heather McGhee and Ai-Jen Poo: "Families Are Drowning in Care Costs. Here’s How To Change That." Commonwealth Fund Report: "Addressing the Shortage of Direct Care Workers: Insights from Seven States" Economic Policy Institute: "Care workers are deeply undervalued and underpaid" I hope you will share word of this organization, its advocacy, and its resources for care workers. Thank you for considering a donation. Best, Ethan
