MISSION  Americans United for Separation of Church and State is a nonpartisan educational and advocacy organization dedicated to advancing the constitutional principle of church-state separation as the only way to ensure freedom of religion, including the right to believe or not believe, for all Americans.  VISION  We envision an America where everyone can freely choose a faith and support it voluntarily, or follow no religious or spiritual path at all, and where the government does not promote religion over non-religion or favor one faith over another.

Our purpose is to create and publicly share knowledge about human activity at sea to enable fair and sustainable use of our ocean.

Global Fishing Watch seeks to advance ocean governance through increased transparency of human activity at sea.By creating and publicly sharing map visualizations, data and analysis tools, we enable scientific research and drive a transformation in how we manage our ocean.

We generate new knowledge by using cutting-edge technology to turn big data into actionable information. We share that information publicly, and for free, to accelerate science and drive fairer, smarter policies and practices that reward good behavior and protect biodiversity, fisheries and livelihoods. By 2030, we aim to monitor and visualize the impact of ocean-going vessels, both industrial and small-scale, that are responsible for the vast majority of the global seafood catch.

FUNDIS is working to protect fungal diversity through conservation, education, and community engagement for a well-documented fungal world. We envision a world in which the fungal kingdom is fully documented, appreciated and protected.

FUNDIS is a nonprofit designed to document and protect fungi and their habitats across North America. Our goals are to help create a detailed inventory of fungal diversity across continental regions and ecosystems, identify key ecological interactions, contribute to the broader scientific knowledge of fungal ecosystems, and execute conservation strategies that actually include our beloved Fungal Kingdom. 

We exist to remedy the lack of knowledge about Kingdom Fungi due to chronic underfunding. We have 38 staff, hundreds of volunteers, and thousands of people rooting us on.
