Based in a rural community of KwaNyuswa is the picture square Valley of 1000 Hills in South Africa; iMbeleko Foundation is an organisation that strives to empower talented, hardworking but socially marginalised rural children made vulnerable by poverty and scarcity – through holistic education support.

iMbeleko has made significant development impact in the last 13 years through the design and implementation of high impact programmes supported by various partners - impacting over 1000 children and creating over 100 jobs for youth and graduates. 

Our mission is to empower our children to reach their full potential and become society-contributing and self-sufficient citizens.

We provide a world-class experience that empowers the rural child that enters our Academy by providing an integrated support system of education, mentoring, and social support – through our blended school in partnership with UCTOHS, Afterschool STEM Programmes in partnership with iStore / Apple Education; Boarding School and University Scholarships; Wellness, Character and Leadership Development. Including Mentoring, Tech and Practical skills Development.
