10 years of prison for a non violent offense and my last 3 In solitary confinement I maxed out as soon as COVID hit ! Never had a chance I went looking for help and couldn’t find it ! Strung out on drugs i almost took my own life on 2 occasions! Even when I went to the hospital I never got help I just got put in handcuffs and locked up again ! I’m a business owner today with my own roofing company and my mental health and drug use almost took me out again ! I have no one to call or lean on I’m glad god bless me so I can help a stranger in need ! I understand the struggle and the only thing that works against mental health and drug addiction is our strength in numbers and unconditional love we got for our brothers when they call us at 2am in need of someone to just listen so they don’t use again ! Love what you guys do !
