Muttville is changing the way the world thinks about and treats older dogs.

Every day...
dogs in good health with wonderful personalities are euthanized. Why? Because they're older, and not considered adoptable. A dog is brought in because he can't jog with his guardian anymore. Or he needs a little time to get up the stairs. Or he’s simply not a puppy. In some cases, dogs are moved from loving homes to concrete cages because their guardians have died or simply can't care for them anymore.

We reach out to senior dogs at risk, give them the care they need, and find them loving forever homes. If we had our way, no dog would spend their last days in a shelter. There is so much love and joy in these dogs!

The mission of Wells of Life is simple – to build 1,000 wells in 10 years for the people of East Africa. Our goal is to solve the water dilemma one well at a time, in a collaborative effort between compassionate individuals, like you and I, who will provide the opportunity to build wells and make a commitment to help the people of East Africa receive clean, sanitary water.  Our goals include:  -Provide 1,000 wells in the next decade.  -Decrease infant mortality by 50% by providing a clean -source of water.  -Create a cost structure whereby funding for a well is placed within reach of individuals, families and groups.  -Empower East African communities to grow and develop productively.  -Facilitate education as women and children are no longer have to walk long distances to collect water.  -Drill one to two wells per week. Each of those wells transforming the lives of 1,000 to 2,000 people.  -Mobilize the public to act by joining Wells of Life in providing others with life’s most vital and basic necessity----water.

**ABOUT CARE**

Charlies Animal Rescue Centre – CARE was established in January 2013 with the aim of providing state of the art, timely medical help to injured and ill street animals in the city of Bangalore. The inspiration behind CARE is Charlie, a differently abled 3 legged Indie dog who was an established figure in the field of animal assisted therapy since 2005. Charlie passed away in 2017 but his legacy lives on in the work at CARE.

CARE has the following services:

1. Emergency Rescue Helpline
2. Animal Ambulance Services
3. Fully quipped Trauma Care Facility with X-Ray, Ultra Sound, ECG, Blood Analyzer, Laser Therapy etc. Operation Theater with Gas Anesthesia Machine, Oxygen Facility, Vet, Laser, Vet Monitor, Dental Scaling etc.
4. Inpatient Housing Facility for 80 dogs & 25 cats
5. Isolation Facility for communicable disease like Canine Distemper, Parvovirus
6. Adoption & Rehoming of Cats, Dogs, Pups, Kittens
7. Volunteering Opportunities
8. Humane Education in Schools & Colleges
9. Animal Cruelty Cases & Prevention of cruelty
10. Animal Assisted therapy
11. Special Tactical Rescue Team – CARE Force
12. Rabies Helpline for Bangalore City

CARE is also home to 122 dogs, 27 cats, 8 rabbits, 23 guinea pigs, 22 hens & roosters, 12 ducks, 3 pigs, 35 birds, 20 terrapins, 23 turkeys all of whom were victims of neglect, abuse or were abandoned. These animals live permanently with CARE.

Charlies Animal Rescue Centre - CARE

The Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is a volunteer-based, non-government organization whose goal is to prevent animal cruelty through education, animal sheltering and advocacy, based in Quezon City, Philippines.

PAWS also runs an animal shelter for over 300 cats and dogs rescued from cruelty or neglect. There, animals are rehabilitated in the hope of finding them new homes and a second chance at a good life.



There is also a low-cost clinic that provides veterinary services to the indigent community, including spay and neuter (kapon).

Provides expertly trained service dogs to people with disabilities and ongoing support at no cost to our clients.

We provide service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities and facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice and educational settings. Since our founding in 1975, our dogs and all follow-up services are provided at no cost to our clients. Six service dog training facilities located in CA, FL, NY, OH and TX.
